Aztec Daves, the elite authentic Mexican food truck and cocktail specialists in Chicago, family run and dishing out Mexican favorites, margaritas and mezcal mules with a modern twist.Aztec Daves focuses on authentic Mexican recipes and ingredients derived from our own grandmother and adds a modern twist. We pride ourselves on the freshest ingredients and top quality marinated meats. Everything is homemade and prepared fresh daily: from our flame-grilled meats to our original salsas.We opened in March 2015 with our first truck because we wanted to share with Chicago very fresh, quality and affordable Mexican food. Many people think of quick, cheap, mid tier quality food when they think of some of the Mexican food here in the city. We wanted to show people a different side of Mexican comfort cuisine with a focus on quality meats and the freshest ingredients. We marinate our meats in a secret seasoning with lime juice that gives a distinct mouth watering flavor when it is flame grilled. We now have three food trucks and a cantina with liquor and extended menu in Humboldt Park, Chicago.
