We are very honored to have started our journey of success in the beautiful state of Quintana Roo, México. We brought ideas and concepts that have been collected from all over the globe to create our Waffleritas. Our journey began in 2014 while traveling through Southeast Asia. After visiting one of the many fascinating markets in Thailand, we found what we now call the “Wafflerita”. Wafflerita is a play on words in English and Spanish, Waffle plus Güerita (blonde girl). We indulged in dozens of these corn-dog looking pastries and were so intrigued by their unique shape so decided to bring the idea back to Mexico. We added our multi culture flare and we decided to stuff them! My boyfriend loves spice and savory and I have a sweet tooth, so we created both! We have now expanded internationally and we are currently offering catering in Denver Colorado and surrounding cities. Stay tuned for some new exciting updates coming Summer 2023!
